Students at Monomoy Regional School recently completed a challenging engineering project to construct a 5 sheet paper truss bridge. This project was part of their STEM curriculum, which focuses on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The goal of the project was for students to apply their knowledge of structural engineering principles to design and build a bridge that could support a specified weight.
The students worked in teams to brainstorm design ideas, create blueprints, and construct their bridges using only 5 sheets of paper.
